Have you got connections with St Clements branch church – bought in the 1940’s to provide an authorised place of worship for people who lived on the Humphrey park estate the branch church continues to offer worship one Sunday in the month and two Wednesdays. Come along and join in the celebration of its anniversary. Light refreshments. We have invited Rev Cath Faulkener to preside at this special service.
The ever popular Mothers Union Jumble Sale will take place in the Parish Hall from 2pm. The Mothers Union is a great organisation that does some wonderful campaigning work and also supports families and family issues – money used is for the work of the Mothers Union here in Urmston.

We are so fortunate here in Urmston to have access to a cycle track that runs across the Pennines, giving cyclists of all abilities an opportunity to ride safely from Southport to Hornsea (215 miles long). Within yards of St Clements church its possible to get on the track to go to Chorlton, Didsbury and beyond, enjoying a great day out in Manchester Diocese. Today we celebrate our good fortune with a day of fun… Come and have a cup…
