Sublime music, readings and other delights in the lovely setting of St Clements Church. It’s a joy to celebrate with the school at Christmas, not least because of the superb quality of their work and their commitment to enjoying what they do.
Unusually, this year, the 4th Sunday of Advent falls on Christmas Eve. This means that we will have the Sunday morning service as usual, then, later in the day, the candlelit crib service and midnight mass. Welcome the Christ child in this traditional midnight service in which we share bread and wine together. Carols, readings and prayers..lets celebrate Christmas together with our friends and neighbours. There is also a service of Holy Communion at our sister church Christ Church on Lostock Rd
A special thanksgiving service presided over by Bishop Mark (Middleton) to celebrate the 150th Anniversary of St Clements Church. The service will be followed by a celebration buffet lunch. All Welcome
