Our clergy are also able to conduct funeral services in Crematoriums and Cemetery Chapels and at the graveside. Garden of RemembranceThere is an attractive and well maintained Garden of Remembrance behind the Parish Church. Many people choose to have the ashes of a loved one interred in the Garden as a final resting place following a cremation. If you wish to make enquiries about this please contact the clergy or Mrs Norma Mellor at the Parish Office, Parish Church, on Tuesday evenings at 6pm. The Garden of Remembrance is a pleasant garden and is often visited by people who are looking for a quiet place to spend some time in peaceful surroundings where they can reflect or relax away from the noise and bustle of everyday life. All Souls Day ServiceEvery year we hold a service of Commemoration for the Faithful Departed on All Souls Day. We contact all families whom we have met during the year following the loss of a loved one and for whom we have conducted a funeral service. They are invited to attend, to light a candle and/or place a flower in memory. We also invite others connected with our church to put names on a list of people whom they wish to be remembered at that service. The church is here for everyone to offer God's love, care and support at the time of bereavement. The Funeral Director will contact the clergy at your request or you can contact the clergy direct if you prefer, to make arrangements for a church service.
